Technological advances are driving European research and people are increasingly becoming dependent on technology to make their lives more efficient. Visual analytics marries analytical reasoning with visual interactive interfaces to resolve complex problems. The EU-funded VISMASTER (‘Visual analytics – Mastering the information age’) project, which received more than 530 000 in funding under the ‘Information and communication technologies’ (ICT) Theme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), successfully tied together European research on visual analytics and laid the groundwork for future research and development (R&D) projects in this field. Le projet VISMASTER («Visual analytics – Mastering the information age») financé par l’UE, était soutenu à hauteur de plus de 530 000 euros au titre du thème «Technologies de l’information et de la communication» (TIC) du septième programme-cadre (7e PC). Dofinansowany ze środków unijnych projekt VISMASTER (Analityka wizualna – opanowywanie ery informacji), który otrzymał ponad 530.000 z tematu “Technologie informacyjne i komunikacyjne” (TIK) Siódmego Programu Ramowego (7PR), z powodzeniem powiązał ze sobą europejskie badania nad analityką wizualną i położył podwaliny pod przyszłe projekty badawczo-rozwojowe (B+R) w tej dziedzinie.
